Winter Camp

Winter Camp is approaching fast. The date this year is December 26-31, 2008. It will be at BSA Camp Karankawa. There will be 40 merit badge courses offered this year. So if you are short some merit badges for rank advancement or just want to learn about different things, this is the camp for you. There is still time to sign up.

WEBELO Over Nighter

Our WEBELO Over Nighter will be at Goose island State Park. It will be on November 15-16, 2008. This campout is specifically designed to assist Webelos accomplish the

"camp out with a troop" requirement.

we would like to extend an invitation to all Webelos and their families to attend this campout. We will be practicing knots (we build

a rope bridge which is really cool) and fishing is on the agenda.

 Angel Food Ministries

The Church will have the Angel Food Ministries on the 25th of October. They will need our help to offload the truck as well as keep the sackers supplied with food. Please mark your calenders and plan to help out for this very worth while ministry.

We are charted by The First United Methodist Church located in downtown Corpus Christi, Texas at 900 S. Shoreline Boulevard. We invite you to come join us every Monday night from 7:00pm to 8:30pm except when Monday falls on a holiday.  We have trained and experienced adult leaders, and focus our efforts on outdoor activities and community service. We go camping at least once a month. We encourage our scouts to advance through the ranks, but allow them to set their own pace. Since 1916, we have nurtured the growth of many scouts, including 200 Eagle Scouts!
